Your heart repeats itself when you don't listen

I have been in the dumbest rut ever for the past month. I quit my job at the end of december. I'm not sorry I quit it because I wasn't happy there. I was a good change for me to get out of a dead end job that I knew was not going to propel me into the direction I want to in my life. I don't believe the classic conceptions of life that say you have to go to work to be happy or successful or just to live. I feel like if everyone did what their hearts told, what their passion was, we would have a happier, better world. I have decided to just try doing my thing for a while, which I have only been passively doing for the past month, I will now actively do my own thing... craft some things, use my new sewing machine, try some things from DIY videos. I choose to live with all abandon and see where it leads me because obviously that opposite is not working. 

I love fashion and I love all of the wonderful things I learned in my education at multiple universities. I feel a surreal sense of accomplishment from having completed my two degrees and as much as I would love to work for a fantastically successful fashion company in the big apple and gain fantastic life and work experience I want to live on my own accord. I want to be in charge of my day to day. That is my decision. JUST GO. no looking back.. no regrets.

Research. Do lots of research

Hi. so i started off with a bang calling people like crazy Jan 5. then after a week I realized i might be going about this the wrong way. I don't want to recruit my family like they say you should and the best leads to have in the cold market are targeted ones. so i went on the prowl for free or inexpensive advertising. I found some great sites like TrafficSwarm and LinkReferral  fantastic traffic exchange websites. you visit or peoples site and people visit yours. I have received hundreds of hits this way. I also turned to some opt in email marketing which i have used before with other business and gained some success with. I have started promoting on a few of the social networks i am involved with and have gotten some mild response from friends. basically i just went crazy. I believe in the next week these methods will payoff and i will be able to make my goal by JANUARY 31. Director. = $800 bonus check.

Hi out there, 

This week was my first real week working my Melaleuca business. I'm happy that i chose Melaleuca. I left my job and was hoping for the best. I had dreams of getting back into Fashion, which I still want to do, but I just don't know how I could mesh the two. I see myself down the line being one of those people on the videos at the launch saying I was at work one day and the next day I had the best life ever.. and now I make a million dollars a year. (If your going to dream, dream big) lol. Anyway I just wanted to let you all know how I was doing. I'll keep you updated.
